Sadly, our tantric masseuse Uma will be leaving us at the end of November Uma has been extremely popular with our clients during the 6 months she has spent with us. She has been completely booked up for the whole time and I have received many compliments for her. Many clients do not want to place testimonials on our website, for personal reasons, but they have privately told me how wonderful her massages are. Uma has to go back home to sort out some family affairs, and she is not entirely sure how long that will take her. We do hope that she will be able to return to us in a few months time, but at this point nothing is certain. We are looking for another masseuse to replace her, but Uma has set a high standard, and we may not be able to find someone right away. Uma’s last day with us will be November 30 so if you would like an appointment with her before she leaves, she will be available on Wednesays and Thursdays and also Tuesday November 29 and Wednesday 30 which will be her last day. Many of you have been trying to make advance bookings for tantra massage with Eden Eden has decided to study for a new career, and this will be taking up a lot of her time in the future. However, for now, she will continue to offer tantra massage with us on various days to fit in with her new studies. Celeste is now a qualified Sexological Bodyworker. She completed the course (see details in my previous blog article https://www.tantricmassagelondon.com/tantric-massage-and-sexological-bodywork/) and received the qualification because she has been very much in demand for our Tantric Therapy/Tuition sessions for several years now,and she wanted to study the subject in more depth. The idea was to get more knowledge, feedback and a recognised qualification. The t-shirt she received on graduating shows that the organisation has a sense of humour, which is always a plus. Personally, I wasn’t too sure what a Sex Geek is, so I have searched the term and come up with some interesting definitions. Shakti will be with us for one more week and she will then go abroad to continue her studies. She has been with us for over 3 years, and we wish her well. We hope that she will continue to visit and work with us during her holidays so do keep an eye out for our Schedule as we will post her name as and when she visits. Several of our masseuses have Sanskrit names. This is customary in India, and helps to remember the quality for which each god or goddess is known. Shakti personifies the Goddess, the divine feminine creative power – the dynamic force of the universe. Shakti is the power, drive and force within a person. During our massages, we often play the CD of the 108 names of the Goddess because in traditional Tantra, worship of Shakti, or Mother Divine, is an integral part of the practices. This is not the maternal aspect of the mother, but the powerful energy which lies at our deepest level of awareness. Yesterday was Tara’s last day with us. She has decided to move on, and will no longer be practicing tantric massage. We will all miss Tara’s bright smile and radiant personality. I will always remember when she joined us two years ago. At that time, she had no experience of massage at all, but somehow I decided to take her on because she had a special quality about her. Since then, she enrolled on several massage courses and trainings, and has become one of our most popular masseuses. She has her own brand of common sense and a quality of taking interest in others and wanting to make others feel good – one might call it ‘spirit’, which is quite unique. We received the following email this morning from one of our regular clients: ‘Just wanted to say my session with Tara yesterday was in a par with one of Celeste’s …..It left my face and fingers tingling as tho they were literally vibrating.’ We all wish Tara lots of luck and happiness in her new life. She certainly deserves it.

Recently, I have been receiving at least two or three calls and emails each day from potential tantric masseuses. In the Employment section of this website, I ask all applicants to send me a cv and a photo, but often they dont bother. Then when I ask them about their training and experience, the answer often is ‘ Well all my friends tell me how good I am’ – and so I discover that they have no massage training whatsoever, and no experience, but they expect to get a job anyway…. and a very well-paid job at that. When they do send a cv and a photo, and I ask them to come over for an interview, many of them dont look anything like their photograph, and in the majority of cases, their massage skills are really poor. I remember when I started practicing tantric massage in London in the 1990’s, there were only 5 of so of us offering sensual/tantric massage in the whole of London. We all knew one another, and we were all qualified, at least to ITEC level. Many of you ask about the background of our tantric masseuses Here is a short account of Sita’s training and experience, which is especially colourful. Sita is from Norway, and she spent many years in northern India, in an ashram,practicing hatha yoga and meditation.She is a trained hatha yoga teacher. Sita is also a qualified ITEC massage therapist, and has diplomas in Lomi Lomi massage and deep tissue massage. She has naturally also been trained in tantric massage here at our clinic at tantric massage london in kensington and is one of our most popular tantric masseuses.
