tantric massage and sexual confidence

Can tantric massage boost sexual confidence? First one needs to understand what sexual confidence really is.   We could all start by asking ourself the question: ‘Am I a sexually confident person?’   Following is a pertinent quote from Osho,  who was a  popular guru, sometimes known as the ‘sex’ guru’ of the seventies: “ All religions have turned man against his own energies. Sex is man’s whole energy, his life energy. So through condemning sex…. and preventing the orgasmic experience, religions have made men and women slaves. And the basic strategy is :’because sex is the most powerful energy in you, sex should be condemned, a guilt should be created. Then the individual has a split….. his nature is sensuous, sexual and his mind is full of garbage against it. So man is afraid of sex as far as the mind is concerned, but his biology has nothing to do with the mind. The biology has its own way of functioning, so it will draw him towards sex and his mind will be standing there continuously condemning him. So he makes love, but in a hurry. He is hurrying because he feels he is doing something wrong. The… Read more »

sexological bodyworker

Celeste is now a qualified Sexological Bodyworker.   She completed the course (see details in my previous blog article   https://www.tantricmassagelondon.com/tantric-massage-and-sexological-bodywork/) and received the qualification because she has been very much in demand for our Tantric Therapy/Tuition sessions for several years now,and she wanted to study the subject in more depth. The idea was to get more knowledge, feedback and a recognised qualification. The t-shirt she received on graduating shows that the organisation has a sense of humour, which is always a plus. Personally, I wasn’t too sure what a Sex Geek is, so I have searched the term and come up with some interesting definitions. The Urban Dictionary definition is: “Someone who takes pride in learning, applying and spreading throughout their lives, accurate sexual health information, effective communication skills and relationship blackbelt knowhow regardless of sexual identity and practices” http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Sex+Geek   Sex-Positive Podcasts “that helped me realize, I’m a Sex Geek   I identify as a ‘sex geek’ It’s a term that was coined and made popular by renowned sex educator Reid Mihalko and I’ve been one since before there even was a term for it…….. ” https://medium.com/@lizandrade/sex-positive-podcasts-that-helped-me-realize-i-m-a-sex-geek-6e21a99aebe9#.jx6j2r26l   10 Ways to become a Sexy Geek Confidence… Read more »

internal clitoris - betty dodson

Betty Dodson is a well-known sex educator I have mentioned her before, in previous articles on this blog. For women, in particular, it is well worth reading some of the many articles on her comprehensive website: http://www.dodsonandross.com   She has written countless articles and produced many videos on all kinds of subjects related to women’s sexuality.   In the video above, she draws a vagina, including the clitoris and I thought it would be interesting, helpful and educational for both women and men to watch.   In fact, it seems that it was only in 2009 that researchers produced the first complete three-dimensional sonography of the stimulated clitoris, similar to the blue and yellow picture above.   Before that, there were only incomplete or inaccurate textbook descriptions and nobody knew about the full anatomical scope of the excited clitoris until the late 1990s, when an MRI was used to study its structure in its ‘live’ state.   The researchers worked for 3 years without proper funding and it is thanks to them that we now understand how the erectile tissue of the clitoris engorges and surrounds the vagina – a complete breakthrough that explains how what we once considered… Read more »

female orgasm

The female orgasm is the subject of of the first video in a new Guardian series of videos. Psychotherapist and agony aunt, Philippa Perry, who is married to the cross-dressing artist Grayson Perry (see picture above) . responds to a woman who is suffering from anorgasmia and doesn’t want to resort to faking it in her new relationship. You can watch the video on the Guardian website: http://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/video/2015/jan/23/50-never-had-orgasm-video In summary, Philippa Perry tells the questioner that 1 in 15 women dont have orgasms. It annoys her that  our culture has made it into this big enormous thing that women actually  feel ashamed when they dont have an orgasm. Orgasms are not the ultimate signifier of a fulfilling sexual relationship. What makes a good relationship is not all about orgasms – it’s about how open you can be with each other – sharing on a deep level……..In general, the standard advice  for inability to reach orgasm, is to try masturbation – knowing how to please yourself is  a good first step………       Ladies Come First is the brainchild of two sisters in their twenties, Sophie and Alice Holloway. map of the vagina

This map of the vagina is for your convenience Vaginas are a source of mystery and fascination to most men. Questions about vaginas, the location of the clitoris, what women like and dont like, are questions which are often asked in our tantric tuition sessions. At first, clients can be hesitant or embarrassed to ask the questions they really want to ask, feeling that they should probably know the answers. They feel that at their age, they should have learned whatever there is to know. However women’s bodies are a mystery, even to women themselves. So it is not surprising that there is often a lack of open communication amongst couples. Maybe it is easier to discuss these things with a person who is neutral and non-judgmental, and experienced enough to be able to answer any question about a woman’s anatomy, and what most women like and do not like. Celeste offers tantric tuition sesssions at our beautiful studio in Kensington on mondays and tuesdays. She will be available on December 8, 9 , 15 and 16, before she goes away for one month at Christmas. She will be back in the New Year, on Monday January 19th. Why… Read more »

elusive orgasm

Women’s orgasms are very different to those of men, and have been a mystery to men and women alike. Tantric massage is not supposed to concentrate on genital orgasm, but on  experiencing the powerful feelings of energy and bliss which circulate in the body, accompanying sensual arousal,  and which can lead to total body orgasm. However, today in the age of communication, more and more books and articles are being written about various aspects of  the female orgasm. Below we describe 3 different ways of helping women to achieve orgasm – the traditional way – via a new app -and a new medical invention. Does this sound familiar: MAN: Finally gets to go downtown and fumbles to get his hand where it counts. MAN: Starts random up-and-down or circular motion, hoping to God he can hit the spot and not be surprised. WOMAN: Moans and man thinks he’s doing well. WOMAN: Stops moaning. MAN: Shifts technique or goes into overdrive, and woman asks him to slow down. MAN: Slows down. Five seconds of mild positive response later, nothing. MAN: Feels like a dog trying to open a door with no thumbs. WOMAN: Gently stops his increasingly erratic attack after 10 minutes…. Read more »

masturbate

Girls everywhere masturbate. Why can’t we talk about it? Is the title of an article in the Telegraph which I found recently while browsing the internet. The author, Rebecca Holman, doesn’t say anything about tantric sex or tantric orgasm, but just plain old masturbation. And it struck me that what she was saying was true. Little by little, over the years, we have become more and more open about what we talk about and what words are allowed on television – and, as the author says, talk about vibrators is fine. We can go and buy them together, and it seems nowadays only a prude would admit to not owning a vibrator. ‘But we never discuss female masturbation on its own, without a purple, glittery, revolving phallus, without a man present, just for the sake of it.’ But men talk about wanking all the time – so why the double standard? It seems that it is the way we talk about it. Its fine to discuss in sex education classes and in relation to products (toys) and messages re. spicing up your sex life. But we don’t talk about how to masturbate. We are the generation that talk… Read more »

tantric massage for women

Tantric massage for women is far less  requested than for men. It seems that the majority of men have few qualms about being adventurous and trying out something new in the feld of sensual exploration. But what about women? Are they more cautious? Are their needs different? There are several tantric groups and workshops available where both women and men can go and take part for a few hours, or for a weekend, or for several weekends, in programmes where they are taught to communicate more clearly and honestly, and to get in touch with their senses and feelings in a more profound and deeper way. But they usually dont get to give or receive a tantric massage until they have progressed and participated in a determined number of these workshops. The clients who come to us  are people who want to receive a one on one massage and in the main, are not attracted to participating in a group. But these workshops may be ideal for many other men or women who want to work on different personal issues, or who may initially find the idea of receiving a tantric massage from a total stranger, a little too threatening. rudolph valentino tantric tuition for women

Tantric Tuition for Women Little girls are brought up with the romantic  idea that one day they will meet their knight in shining armour, who will sweep her off her feet, love her for ever,  and life will be wonderful  ever after. We have been spoon-fed these romantic  images, by novels, movies and our culture in general. But the reality, or the inside stories, reveal something very different going on under the surface. Novels like Lady Chatterley’s lover, which was banned when it was first written, have now been read by most schoolgirls. The tragedy of Romeo and Juliet is part of our culture….. as is Walt Disney’s Cinderella singing ‘Some Day My Prince will Come.’ We all know about the love life of famous politicians like Robert Kennedy, millionaires like Howard Hughes, footballers, starting with the first ‘pop’ footballer George Best, latin lovers like Rudolph Valentino and Clark Gable, and the most famous womanizer of them all, Casanova.     But what is it like being married to these men? They may be able to sweep women off their feet initially, but what happens after that….? It must be very difficult, if not impossible, for anyone to live up to the… Read more »

tantric therapy/tantric tuition

This will be the first of a few articles on our tantric therapy /tantric tuition sessions We offer these sessions here at our Tantric Massage studio in the heart of Kensington.I would like to first of all lay the groundwork of all our thinking. There is a lot of confusion nowadays, about esoteric terms such as chakras, kundalini, shakti, etc. and all of a sudden, numerous so-called experts have sprung up, writing articles on these subjects. Nowadays, it is too easy to read a few articles or books, and overnight become an ‘authority’ on subjects such as tantra. Only a truly realised master can convey the truth on these subjects – and again, in today’s world, one needs a lot of discrimination in order to tell who is a truly realised master, and who is not. This is why we do not claim to raise your kundalini… we do not call ourselves Tantric Goddesses and we do not indulge in talk about chakras or rituals. During the past 40 years, I have been involved in a deep study, firstly of the many branches of  transpersonal and humanistic psychology. I qualified as a co-counsellor, and also as a Fischer-Hoffman therapist… Read more »
