sting

Some of you may have read my original post on Sting, written on March 27th on this blog: https://www.tantricmassagelondon.com/sting-the-singer-who-made-tantra-a-household-name/ Today, I discovered a new article on Sting’s views on women, which I find very interesting –  Sting practices tantra yoga and recognises that women are  superior to men in many ways!! Here is the article: STING COULD LIVE AS A ‘ SEX SLAVE’  IN A WOMAN’S WORLD – CTV News Monday November 22nd 2010 Sting wishes he could live as a ‘sex slave’ in a world run by women. The Police frontman woud be happy  if females were the dominant gender in society with him fulfilling their erotic fantasies. The musician – who is married to film producer Trudie Styler and is famous for practicing Tantric sex – said “I’ll say the standard misogynist thing, I dont like women drivers very much, but I prefer to live in a world run by women. I just take my hat off to a superior form. I’m very comfortable with the idea of women being superior in many different fields. The way they navigate the world is something I admire. All this striving for machismo power, its f***ed… Read more »

erotic massage - dita von teese

dita von teese The Erotica Show opens this year at Olympia London,on November 19. The headline attraction for the show is Dita Von Teese. I am a great admirer of hers – she has such radiance, glamour, style and a very unique quality of elegance. But, looking at the rest of what is on offer made me start to ponder about what erotic or erotic massage really means. Wilkipedia gives an interesting definition of eroticism: “Unlike sensuality, which concentrates on the pleasures of the senses, eroticism is concerned with heightening those pleasures. To achieve that objective, eroticism can involve a delay in sexual gratification in order to intensify the satisfaction level by extending the period of yearning desire.” Perceptions of what is erotic fluctuate. Khajuraho in India, famous for its erotic sculpture, is a very popular tourist destination and is considered to be one of the ‘seven wonders of India.’ The Khajuraho temples don’t contain sexual or erotic art inside the temple or near the deities. The idea is that one must leave one’s sexual desires outside the temple and the inner deity of the temple is pure like the soul, unaffected by sexual desires. But the external carvings depict “twisting,… Read more »

diwali

Wishing you a very happy and prosperous Diwali.   Diwali, the Festival of Lights,  is considered to be the Indian New Year   It is one of  the most celebrated Hindu festivals, lasting for 5 days or longer. It is a time of great rejoicing for the upcoming year and a time of offering special pujas (rituals). Diwali is celebrated on a new Moon night when the Moon is not visible. It is the time when Hindus worship the goddess Laxmi, seen as the giver of all comforts and money in this age. The Festival of Lights is the triumph of good over bad, nobility over evil, knowledge over ignorance, happiness over unhappiness   May the Festival of Lights bring hope and light into your lives. Below is a virtual Maha Laxmi Aarti  – it is a prayer to, and worship of the Goddess Laxmi. As you can see, the goddess is decorated in colourful jewels and all her finery. Happy Halloween

Halloween used to be mainly celebrated by children in America ( as well as Scotland and Ireland),but now it seems to be becoming more and more popular with all generations in this country. Everyone seems to love an excuse to get dressed up, put face paint on,  and  go out and party. I first saw children go out  ‘Trick- or -Treating” when I lived in California in the ’80’s.  Nowadays, they are all doing it here too, although I did see one rather bad tempered neighbour a few years ago, slam his front door in the face of a group of angelic children, dressed up as wizards and fairies, with the words: ‘This is England, not America!” I went to see the film about Facebook this weekend – The Social Network. I definitely recommend it – its a fascinating story, and very well acted. Talking of Facebook, I found the above picture on there today, with the following quote: “He breathes into my ear until my soul takes on His fragrance. He is the soul of my soul.”  – Rumi –
