I spent 3 months in Ubud, Bali, in 1997 and studied and received massages and treatments from various masseurs and healers. Balinese massage is an interesting blend of thai massage, swedish massage and other individual systems of massage, usually given in the open air. Below is a 3mn. trailer of a documentary which was being made by a young American who was filming at the time – on the extraordinary healing powers of Pogog, a very unorthodox Balian healer who I visited on several occasions.
